It has gotten hot again but no need to worry we are picking like robots. The farm so far has been great in this heat and little rain. We harvested a record number of pepper's this week. They are awesome. There are all different kinds, sizes and colors. The banana pepper's we picked today looked like state fair winner's to me :) Check out the face-book picture if you get a chance. So get ready to have stuffed pepper's. They are perhaps the largest banana pepper's the farm has ever grown. They also are gourmet in quality. The amount of pepper's we picked will be very obvious in your box:) We also dug potato's today as well. We have enough to distribute another 3-5lb bag this week per member. The digger has been working great since we had it fixed. This week's C.S.A box should be just as huge as last week if not bigger...So have a feast with friends!!! The summer squash are looking good. We are going to pick those tomorrow as well as the pan summer squash. If you like these be sure to get extra's with your card as I am estimating they will only be around for 2 more weeks! The tomato's are close to being done as well I might be able to stretch them for another three weeks if were lucky. We are also picking those tomorrow and I am estimating their is around 500-600lbs that are ready. I am not going to totally disclose all of the items until tomorrow, but their is a bunch! We are watering the pumpkins again and they are doing great!!!!! They are getting HUGE!!!! I can't wait to pick them!! I hope you are all enjoying the sprouts. We will have those the rest of the season. We planted around 1260 of them for you! I hope you don't get sick of them. This coming week is week 14 in the C.S.A. We advertised that we would go 16 weeks. After some deep consideration, I have decided that I think we might be able to go longer!!!! I even have talked to my staff and they are cool with it! I think this garden just might give us a few extra weeks if were lucky! The eggplant should be in extreme abundance this week as well. Their are three different kinds that we will have. Everything that should be growing @ this time is doing good. The gourds are starting to really look pretty. They will look great on your porch this October! Many of you have asked about signing up for next year. You can't sign up on the website yet, but you can sign up in the store. If you sign up before Dec 31st. you will receive an instant $25 dollar's off your C.S.A. for next year. We are only accepting 150 member's for next year. We accept all form's of payment in the store. We are not raising the price of the C.S.A. for the 2013 year! This year we have roughly 110 members:) They will fill up fast, so if you are able and were happy with our product we would love to be your farmer's for another year.
