Hello Again,
Well a hot week has presented itself again this week & I feel like we really gave this heat a kick in the butt. This week the Zuc's are going crazy and summer squash. They are really starting to shoot fruit like I like them too. Could turn into a zuc madness! I picked the first 37 pints of cherry tomato's. They are starting to turn. Since they are just starting to turn, I will wait to distribute them until we have enough for everyone. The 37 pints will be in the store on the rack. First come, first serve! Use your punch. There are also extra potato's if two pounds will not get you through the week. They are also on the produce rack in the store. We moved one of the racks in the store because we don't want all of you, our C.S.A. community to suffer in the heat. Coming in the near future will be green beans, eggplant, watermelon. All three of these crops we have limped through this heat and watered through the night and it is paying off with produce. They are going to be really excellent. The eggplant I grow is really top notch.
